THE BECKHAM RIDGE MINISTRIES VISION

BRM is operated by a group of Christian volunteers in Arkansas whose focus is the emotional healing, salvation, and empowerment of children in foster care, providing them with opportunities to experience the love and faithfulness of God through our caring volunteers giving them hope for a better life.   

About 5000 Arkansas children and youth reside in state foster care at any given time.  Having been removed from homes where they were not receiving proper love and care, they of course deeply need to experience people and places where they receive healthy nourishment, love, acceptance, safety, encouragement and experience fun without fear.

Beckham Ridge Ministries is all about providing the people and places where foster children can experience this physical, spiritual and emotional nourishment. This helps replace the harmful narratives in their minds with God’s truth—that they were perfectly created by Him and He has good plans for them!

Can we make a difference?
When you bring together Christian volunteers and children in need, special things can happen. By the power of God lives are changed, hope springs up. Sometimes special things happen. Since our beginning our volunteers have served several hundred foster children and as a bonus several of our volunteers have adopted children out of foster care giving them a "Forever Home".
 

FACILITIES VISION


Camp Beckham Ridge has been constructed on donated property in the Ozark Mountains of North Central Arkansas near the picturesque town of Mountain View. This community is known for folk music, trout fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, farming and other experiences perfect for operating a camp for children and teens! We hope to use and grow this facility to expand our ministry thereby reaching more children each year.
